about

A young girl, in her mid twenties, leaned against a rooftop door. She dragged on a cigarette, its embers illuminating her dark skin under her hood pulled over her eyes.

A voice crackled in her head,
"Raven, I didn't know you smoked..."

"A girl's gotta have her secrets." She smiled wryly, blowing smoke into the night sky. The neon paint of the city lights danced in her eyes.

The voice sighed. "Usually they're, you know, interesting."

"I'd say what we're about to do is rather interesting, don't you think?" Raven straightened and casually walked to the edge of the building, sitting and hanging her legs over the edge.

A pause. "Look, let's focus-"
"That's what the cig is for, Ennay."
"...great. Zen can't wait much longer. If GENTEK catches him with that data, its over. Bye."
"You cut the detectors, right? Leaps don't go well if I can't stop myself from hitting the ground. How'd you say it...bye."
Ennay mumbled under his breath, "Of course, that's just a little insulting...

He continued, clearing his throat, "I get hiding a facility from prying eyes in the Undercity, but their security is lax...be careful down there, Ray. I've got a bad feeling about this one."

Raven stood, tossed her cigarette to the ground, and snuffed it with her heel.

"That's sweet of you to worry, Ennay. We'll be just fine. I'll keep you updated on my descent. Raven out."

With those words, the girl checked her dark grey bodysuit, casually looking over the edge of the building. A sea of gold and neon from the Precidium greeted her eyes and she inhaled slowly.

"Welcome to Divinity..." she exhaled and leaned her lithe form over the edge to plummet to the city's depths.
